A conclusion has been made. UN has more disadvantage than advantage. Why? Because in this nature of wild and uncontrollable corruptive situation which has become culture in Indonesia, UN only brings negative excess to the students. There are widespread cheats adopted and applied by stakeholders of the schools from teachers to education staffs. This is not casuistic problem but already systematic. It varies from questions theft, question leakage until distribution of answering keys. All are connected to bribes. It has been claimed and admitted by a group of teachers in Medan which named themselves as Group of Teachers Tears including more than 60 teachers, supervisors and head teachers who divulged the brutal and illegal actions of Head Teachers who interfered the UN for their personal benefits. All these were affecting the students badly and morally. Education is not only transferring knowledge, but also building character.
Now, students evaluation is heathier because it is cumulative by reports compilation rather than incidental like UN.
STI supports the system currently introduced by Minister Nadiem Makarim who has abolished UN.
