Sekolah Tunas Indonesia Junior High brought learning to life through an exciting and enriching field trip to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. This event was part of their Contextual Learning P5 program, embracing the theme βUnity in Diversity.β
This learning journey allowed students to explore the cultural richness of Indonesia through TMIIβs iconic pavilions representing various provinces. As part of the P5 (Pancasila Student Profile) initiative, the trip aimed to instill core values such as mutual respect, cooperation, and national pride in a fun and interactive setting.
From traditional architecture and regional attire to unique cultural performances, students experienced firsthand the diversity that defines Indonesia. The day was filled with insightful observations, reflection activities, and team-based learning, making it both educational and memorable.
The Contextual Learning P5 program emphasizes real-world learning experiences that reinforce classroom concepts. By engaging with Indonesiaβs cultural heritage outside of the school walls, students developed a deeper understanding of what it means to be an active, empathetic, and informed citizen.
This trip was not just an excursionβit was a step toward building future leaders grounded in the values of unity and diversity.
